About The Position

Performs x-ray functions, documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and regulatory guidelines in a courteous, caring and respectful manner. Maintains appropriate logs and licensing according to state and Board Examiners. Responsible for maintaining all supplies and equipment. Maintains a close working relationship with staff to ensure proper workflow. Supports and assists other practice activities as necessary.

Requirements

  • Completion of formal radiologic technology coursework in a school approved by the Council on Education of the American Medical Association
  • Must have passed an examination within six (6) months by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist or eligib
  • Current and valid license from the State of New Jersey X-Ray Technician Board of Examiners
  • BCLS certification required
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.)
  • Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required
  • Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care
  • Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations
  • Strong communication both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers and/or groups

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a clinic, medical office or off-site medical environment preferred
  • ARRT Certification preferred
