About The Position

This position is responsible for disassembling S60 and HDEP heads in accordance with remanufacturing processes. The role performs physically demanding manufacturing work, logs and disassembles head cores, and ensures quality and timely completion while following standardized work procedures. The position is onsite in Byesville, Ohio.

Requirements

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping, and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for the entire shift and perform repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or trucking.
• Previous mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; further college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log, disassemble, and ensure the quality of head cores in a safe and timely manner.
• Disassemble head components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform manufacturing duties involving repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, machinery, and standardized work procedures.
• Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process and consult drawings, bills of materials, and specification sheets in electronic and hard-copy formats.
• Participate in improving safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput in the work area.
• Maintain a clean work area and meet quality standards while implementing continuous improvement measures.
• Cross-train on other jobs as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
