About The Position

This position is responsible for disassembling S60 and HDEP heads in accordance with remanufacturing processes. The role performs manufacturing work involving repetitive processes, machinery, and standardized work procedures, while logging and disassembling head cores and ensuring quality and safety. The position is onsite in Byesville, Ohio. Starting pay is $18.40 per hour, with top pay of $25.97 per hour; quarterly gainsharing bonus potential and additional shift differential for off-shifts are also offered.

Requirements

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping, and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for the entire shift and perform repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow standardized work procedures and meet quality standards.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly automotive or trucking.
• Previous mechanical experience.
• High school diploma or GED; further college education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Log, disassemble, and ensure the quality of head cores in a safe and timely manner.
• Disassemble head components for heavy-duty trucks.
• Perform physically demanding manufacturing duties, including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, machinery use, and following standardized work procedures.
• Use computer systems to access company data associated with the assembly process and use drawings, bills of materials, and specification sheets in electronic and hard-copy formats.
• Actively participate in improving safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput in the work area.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Cross-train on other jobs as required.
• Perform other duties as needed.
