About The Position

CWWC is seeking a woodworker to join its growing team. The role involves developing proficiency in the skills used in the cabinet assembly end-line process and building cabinetry units to project specifications. The successful candidate will work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively, and will follow company standards and direction. Duties may vary with operational needs, and the employee may be cross-trained to perform other tasks. Pay is determined by experience and skill level.

Requirements

Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
Ability to learn to read and interpret design drawings and production documents.
Ability to communicate effectively across departments.
Good communication skills, attention to detail, and organization.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction respectfully.
Proper attendance.
High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and follow safety guidelines, policies, and practices, and promptly report incidents, injuries, or near misses to a Foreperson.
Build cabinetry units according to project specifications.
Work efficiently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
Use basic hand tools safely and competently.
Read and interpret design drawings and production documents, or learn to do so.
May cross-train to perform other duties.
Communicate effectively across departments and take direction respectfully from the Manager.
Help establish and maintain a culture of health and safety.
