About The Position

Caterpillar is hiring an Assembler to perform safe, defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components by following documented procedures. The role uses lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination, along with industrial power tools and lifting devices to move heavy components. The first-shift schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be required as needed to support business needs. The listed pay range is $19.28–$24.12 per hour; first-shift pay is listed as $19.28 per hour. Candidates must pass an online assessment before an interview, and an offer is conditioned on passing a drug screen.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous work experience.
• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Pass an online assessment before interview.
• Successful completion of a drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
