About The Position

Formlabs is seeking a Head of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and S&OP to shape the operational backbone of its growing additive manufacturing business. This leader will develop and execute integrated planning strategies that support growth, operational excellence, and new product launches across product categories. The role leads end-to-end supply and demand planning, monthly S&OP, and NPI scenario planning, while building a high-performing planning team. It partners with executives and teams across sales, product management, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and finance to improve service, cost, inventory, supply readiness, and organizational performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply planning, demand planning, and/or S&OP.
• At least 5 years in senior management overseeing integrated planning functions in a relevant industry, such as consumer electronics.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a record of using data to drive decisions and implement process improvements.
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and present to C-level executives.
• Ability to attract, coach, and develop high-performing teams and foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement in fast-paced settings.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or similar).
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, or IBF forecasting/planning certification.
• Expertise with advanced planning systems such as SAP APO, Kinaxis, or Oracle; S&OP tools; ERP/MRP platforms; and relevant analytics or scenario-modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute scalable supply and demand planning strategies that support operational excellence, growth objectives, and new product launches.
• Oversee integrated demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP processes to balance service, cost, and inventory targets.
• Direct the monthly S&OP process and facilitate cross-functional consensus meetings aligning sales, operations, and financial planning.
• Ensure data and scenario analysis support executive-level decision-making.
• Implement and continuously improve planning tools, analytics, and KPIs to increase visibility and accountability across the planning cycle.
• Collaborate with sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and finance stakeholders to optimize supply chain performance, support scale-up, and meet margin targets.
• Integrate sales, product management, and market demand signals into production and inventory plans; reduce forecast error and improve responsiveness to market changes.
• Lead scenario planning and cross-functional alignment for new product introductions, anticipating launch and ramp-up outcomes and ensuring supply readiness.
• Mentor and develop teams in demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP, fostering a collaborative, agile, and results-driven culture.
