About The Position

Tutor Intelligence is hiring a Head of Quality to lead quality as a function alongside the Head of Manufacturing. The role owns the quality system, supplier quality across the supply base, product safety certifications, and the company’s quality targets. Quality engineers and the quality manager report to this position, which will grow the team over time. The role reports to the CTO; as the operations organization grows, the Head of Quality and Head of Manufacturing will report to the leader of that organization. This is a building role. The Head of Quality will develop these into a system that can support increasing production, establish a trusted supplier base, and maintain a quality record that customers and certifying bodies can verify. This role has authority to hold any shipment that does not meet requirements.
