Head of Product

Responsiv•Chicago, IL

About The Position

Responsiv is building a regulatory operating system for compliance, legal, and risk teams. The platform helps organizations manage applicable regulations, filter and route relevant alerts, translate legal text into actionable obligations, identify gaps in policies and controls, draft updates, track remediation, and understand regulatory context when existing policies do not cover a situation. The Head of Product shapes what Responsiv builds and why. This person sets product vision and roadmap, makes the product easy to use, intuitive, and polished, and ensures product quality—including AI-driven outputs—improves measurably with every release. The role partners closely with the Head of Regulatory Data, who owns the truth sets and serves as the arbiter of quality, and with AI Engineering, which owns AI deliverables. The Head of Product defines design vision and principles across modules, maintains a consistent design system, and establishes quality rubrics and regression gates for evaluation-driven development. They clarify user problems and success criteria, work with engineering and Regulatory Data to shape solutions, and keep priorities clear. They also lead the product organization by communicating a sequenced long-term roadmap, maintaining knowledge of the RegTech landscape, aligning cross-functional teams, and building a high-performing product team over time.
