About The Position

Alternative Payments is building a financial operating system for small and medium-sized businesses, starting with managed service providers. After developing accounts receivable capabilities, the company is expanding into accounts payable, AI-powered analytics, and other products. The Head of Product will own the product vision across the AI platform, spanning accounts receivable, accounts payable, and analytics. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on product strategy, technical rigor, team development, and innovation connecting data, AI, and payments. The role is available to candidates eligible to work in New York or Toronto and is hybrid. The Head of Product will manage and grow product managers and product designers, oversee product design scope across the organization, and partner closely with product managers and engineering. They will define the product vision and roadmap, improve product-team practices, and thoughtfully establish AI as a customer- and partner-valued product capability. The company describes itself as a fast-growing, scaling startup with a global team and a collaborative, high-ownership culture.
