Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a combination of business operations, management consulting, or B2B software.
  • Proven track record of leading operations teams and improving operational performance at scale.
  • Experience working closely with or embedded within a product organization is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to think in systems and build for scale.
  • Comfortable diving into broken processes and presenting operational strategies to senior leadership.
  • Structured, analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to move fast and make pragmatic decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience building measurement frameworks, instrumenting operations for visibility, and using data to drive accountability and improvement.
  • Experience standing up or improving operational dashboards, OKR frameworks, or milestone tracking systems is a strong plus.
  • Experience hiring, developing, and scaling operations teams.
  • Ability to identify talent, build culture, and create conditions for a team to do its best work.
  • Leadership by example and a reputation for raising the bar.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a high-performing product operations function, owning the design of systems, processes, and team structures for shipping products with speed and precision.
  • Define clear standards across the product delivery lifecycle, from intake and prioritization through deployment and customer handoff.
  • Build the product operations team, including hiring and developing strong operators, establishing clear cadences, and driving alignment between product, engineering, and go-to-market functions.
  • Build and maintain the performance framework for the product operations team, defining and tracking key KPIs such as delivery velocity, prioritization health, cross-functional alignment, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify gaps in current processes, drive continuous improvement, and ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with Product leadership to surface insights for the product roadmap and embed the voice of the customer in product development.
  • Collaborate with engineering, go-to-market, and customer success teams to ensure operational capabilities scale with product growth.
  • Use AI to automate and drive efficiency.
