About The Position

The Head Oncology Commercialization Portfolio Marketing will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across the U.S. Oncology portfolio. This role is responsible for driving portfolio-level positioning, optimizing resource allocation, and ensuring cohesive go-to-market strategies across multiple brands, tumor types, and indications. The position will have oversight of the National Account Executive (NAE) organization, Regional Marketing teams, and Channel Marketing, ensuring alignment between national strategy, regional execution, and customer engagement models. As a member of the U.S. Oncology Leadership Team, this leader will influence enterprise-level decisions and ensure alignment with global commercialization priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 15+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical commercial experience with deep U.S. oncology expertise.
  • Proven leadership experience across portfolio marketing, brand management, and launches in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong track record of strategic thinking, executional excellence, and people leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement portfolio-level marketing strategies to maximize value across brands, indications, and therapeutic areas.
  • Ensure alignment between U.S. portfolio strategy, Brand, Sales, Commercial Strategy and evidence-generation priorities.
  • Oversee and implement marketing activities for brands or indications within assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Responsible for overall brand management, including launches and positioning brands effectively with the sales force.
  • Provide strategic direction and governance to brand and indication teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Develop market objectives and strategies and monitor performance against goals.
  • Ensure brand and portfolio decisions are grounded in robust market insights, analytics, and customer understanding.
  • Oversee market research, brand and product management, advertising and promotion, and new product development activities.
  • Drive integrated execution across brands, channels, and customer segments.
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight to the National Account Executive (NAE) organization.
  • Oversee Regional Marketing teams to translate national strategies into effective regional execution.
  • Lead Channel Marketing strategy across personal and non-personal channels.
  • Accountable for marketing budgets within assigned brand, portfolio, and geographic scope.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing marketing organization, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and enterprise thinking.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, BI&A, Digital, and Global Commercial Strategy teams to ensure integrated execution.
