About The Position

The Head of North American Education leads Toon Boom's Education business across North America, with a primary focus on accelerating growth within the U.S. K-12 segment. This commercially driven leader will own revenue growth, market expansion, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market execution — including building and scaling a dedicated outbound sales organization of SDRs and Account Executives.

Requirements

  • At least 7+ years of experience in Education, SaaS, Technology, Media & Entertainment, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling outbound sales motions.
  • Experience hiring and leading SDR and AE teams.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. Education and K-12 ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead confidently through executive-level presentations.
  • Strategic, results-oriented leader who combines a builder's mindset with operational discipline (including forecasting) — putting customers at the center, leading across teams with data and collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the North American Education growth strategy aligned to the company's revenue objectives.
  • Lead expansion into the U.S. K-12 market through direct and partner-led motions.
  • Build and scale a dedicated Education sales organization, including SDRs and Account Executives.
  • Drive new logo acquisition, expansion, and retention across K-12 and Higher Education.
  • Own forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and operating cadence for the Education business.
  • Develop a focused U.S. K-12 GTM strategy, identifying high-potential districts, state opportunities, and education programs.
  • Build relationships with district leaders, curriculum stakeholders, government agencies, channel partners, and industry associations.
  • Position Toon Boom as a critical tool supporting career readiness, STEAM education, workforce development, and digital media programs.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that accelerate scale and market penetration.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing SDRs and AEs.
  • Establish clear KPIs, accountability frameworks, and a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to improve forecasting, reporting, and sales effectiveness.
  • Ensure strong adoption, retention, and expansion within the Education customer base.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Training teams to improve outcomes and increase lifetime value.
  • Support certification initiatives that strengthen Toon Boom's market differentiation.
