Foundational Head of National Accounts, Enterprise Technology Partnerships

Branch Financial, LLC•Columbus, OH
•$122,500 - $175,000•Remote

About The Position

Branch is seeking a senior, high-visibility individual contributor to lead its most strategically important partnerships segment: large corporate insurance agencies and major non-insurance institutions where Branch technology becomes core to how enterprises operate and grow. This is a platform sales role focused on selling Branch’s proprietary technology and capabilities as infrastructure for enterprise growth, rather than managing a book of independent agents. The role owns enterprise relationships end to end, from building business cases and stakeholder consensus through complex deals, launch, and partnership growth. The Head of National Accounts will also serve as a subject-matter expert on enterprise sales strategy and a resource for other salespeople. Branch is remote-first and prefers candidates in Ohio, while considering candidates in the listed states. The role involves regular travel, approximately 30–50%, depending on deal needs.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of enterprise or complex B2B sales experience, including at least 3 years selling to organizations with multi-layered, technical buying committees.
  • Track record of closing technology or platform partnerships with large corporate enterprises, rather than small or independently owned operators, and scaling those partnerships materially after close.
  • Experience selling in a startup or early-stage environment where the offering was still developing.
  • Ability to run technical, product-oriented sales cycles, including explaining platform capabilities, coordinating technical evaluations and integrations, and developing ROI-driven business cases.
  • Ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of Branch’s product suite and position its proprietary technology as critical infrastructure for partners.
  • Recognized expertise in enterprise deal strategy and execution, with the ability to guide others.
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
  • Proven record of meeting quota and production targets on complex, long-cycle enterprise deals.
  • Ability to manage several large, multi-stage enterprise deals concurrently without details slipping.
  • Strong negotiation skills for commercial and technical contract terms.
  • Comfort with regular travel of approximately 30–50%, with flexibility based on deal needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency with CRMs and standard productivity tools.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Branch cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

  • Founder, consultative, or solution-design experience is a strong signal.
  • Familiarity with insurance is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle for strategically significant large corporate insurance agencies and major non-insurance institutions, from initial conversations and technical evaluation through signed, live partnerships.
  • Build a targeted pipeline of enterprise-scale agencies and institutions, positioning Branch’s technology as a platform for their insurance growth.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise buying processes across technology, operations, product, and executive sponsors; build the business case and consensus required to close.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to scope integrations, address technical requirements, and translate partner needs into product input.
  • Manage and grow live partnerships after launch by driving adoption, expanding platform usage, and growing production through a land-and-expand approach.
  • Structure and negotiate commercial and technical deal terms and guide agreements through legal and compliance to signature.
  • Serve as an enterprise/platform sales subject-matter expert, own the enterprise methodology that guides other salespeople, and contribute to broader sales strategy.
  • Coordinate with account management, implementation, and customer success teams to support technical onboarding and partner go-live.
  • Maintain accurate, current pipeline and forecasts in HubSpot.
  • Manage account strategy and prioritization autonomously, communicate proactively, and handle multiple large, multi-stage enterprise deals concurrently.
  • Travel regularly, approximately 30–50%, adjusting to deal needs.
