About The Position

Nomad is a company that helps rental owners lease faster, get paid reliably, and manage their rentals through software, including Guaranteed Rent, where owners get paid even if tenants don't. They have facilitated over $250 million in rental payments and have a strong foundation with a lean team. They are hiring a Head of Growth to lead their growth initiatives. The role will have support from a growth+finance leader and an agency, allowing the new hire to add value immediately. The Head of Growth will be responsible for the company's growth strategy across acquisition, conversion, retention, and lifecycle, as well as exploring new channels like outbound, SEO, AEO, and referrals. They will be hands-on for the first six months and will build out a team of two individual contributors initially. The role is expected to leverage AI and LLMs for content systems, creative iteration, and internal tooling to improve speed and quality of work.

Requirements

  • Led growth at a startup or high-growth tech company, ideally DTC, fintech, or marketplace.
  • Personally executed performance marketing, not just managed people who did.
  • Deep understanding of attribution, value-based bidding, and signal pipelines.
  • Comfortable being the primary growth person in the room for the first several months before hiring.
  • Strong product intuition and desire to influence pricing, packaging, messaging, and onboarding.
  • Experience in ad accounts, writing briefs, reading SQL, and shipping experiments.
  • Ability to figure out channel expansion independently.

  • Landlord or real estate investor experience.
  • Experience in fintech or marketplace operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own growth strategy across the company: acquisition, conversion, retention, lifecycle, and new channels (outbound, SEO, AEO, referrals, etc.).
  • Scale and improve existing paid acquisition (Google and Meta focus).
  • Build outbound, SEO, AEO, referral, and lifecycle motions.
  • Improve conversion and activation across a multi-step lead-to-active funnel.
  • Run a high-cadence experimentation program with rigor on incrementality and forecasting, with support from engineering.
  • Hire and develop a small, high-leverage growth team.
  • Use LLMs for content systems, creative iteration, and internal tooling.
