Head of Growth Marketing

ProductPlanDenver, CO
$120,000 - $150,000Remote

About The Position

ProductPlan, a company that has helped over 100,000 product leaders turn strategy into roadmaps, has acquired Winware.ai and fused its platform with AI-native product intelligence. The company is repositioning as the Product Intelligence Platform, reimagining its core roadmap platform into an industry-first communication tool, and launching a new AI-native product. Backed by growth-equity investors, ProductPlan is aiming to double its ARR and is seeking a growth marketer to lead its go-to-market strategy and drive growth. This role is a hands-on, high-ownership position for a builder, currently operating as a team of one. The Head of Growth Marketing will own ProductPlan’s demand engine, including strategy, channels, budget, and pipeline. Reporting directly to the CEO, Steven Cohn, a four-time founder with multiple exits, the individual will gain experience in Go-to-Market strategy from a seasoned entrepreneur. The role begins with a strong foundation, including clear segmentation, sharp positioning, a new Webflow website optimized for discovery, completed demand tests, an AI-informed content program, and a clean CRM. The primary opportunity is to launch a brand-new product into a new category end-to-end and own its demand generation story.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years in demand generation, growth, or GTM at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Ability to build AI tooling and automations; candidates will be asked to demonstrate what they have built.
  • Scrappy in-house operator mentality, energized by owning the whole funnel and multiplying efforts with AI.
  • Breadth across the growth stack with meaningful depth in at least one area: paid acquisition, SEO/GEO, lifecycle/email, or CRO.
  • Track record of owning pipeline and running multi-channel campaigns, with the ability to detail past campaigns, their outcomes, and learnings.
  • Strong marketing-ops and analytics fundamentals, including tracking, attribution, and funnel performance.
  • Expertise operating marketing automation systems and a desire to learn and apply new methods.
  • High agency, strong taste, and energized by autonomy, urgency, and ownership of the outcome.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to product and engineering personas.
  • Experience identifying and curating community engagement with developers.
  • Exposure to a GTM repositioning (new narrative, new ICP focus, new channel motion) tied to measurable pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Own ProductPlan’s demand engine: strategy, channels, budget, and pipeline.
  • Own pipeline across paid and organic channels, including paid search (Google), paid and organic LinkedIn, and other high-ROI channels.
  • Own SEO and GEO to establish ProductPlan as a leading answer in AI-powered search and LLM results.
  • Manage lifecycle and email marketing, including nurture, conversion flows, lead scoring and handoff, and reactivation of the existing database.
  • Drive website conversion and CRO through landing pages, forms, and on-site experiences.
  • Utilize events as a demand vehicle by identifying and engaging in relevant buyer communities.
  • Manage the martech and measurement stack, including HubSpot, Webflow, GA4, and Google Search Console, ensuring trusted attribution.
  • Manage a working budget of approximately $50K/month, making decisions on allocation and speed of deployment.
  • Establish and maintain the operating rhythm, including a weekly CEO-facing pipeline dashboard and a monthly/quarterly planning cadence.
  • Develop and manage the AI systems powering growth, including agents, automations, and internal tools.
  • Create or direct the creation of creative assets, either designing them directly or managing freelancers and AI tools.
