About The Position

We're hiring a Head of Business Operations to be the strategic and operational right hand to our executive team—the person who sees around corners, sets the operating cadence, and makes sure the highest-stakes decisions get made with the best possible data. You'll build and manage a lean team of BizOps generalists working across GTM, RevOps, Finance, and Product, with the autonomy to identify the highest-leverage problems and the mandate to solve them. This is a high-ownership role with a direct line to executive leadership and significant room to grow as the company scales.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience, with a foundation in management consulting, investment banking, PE, or VC, and meaningful time inside a high-growth startup
  • Track record of owning ambiguous, cross-functional problems end-to-end and driving them to outcomes
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team
  • You have an extremely high degree of agency and autonomy
  • You have an exceptional ability to draw key insights from both quantitative and qualitative data
  • You’re a structured thinker with a natural capacity to distill complex concepts and effectively communicate them to a variety of audiences
  • You have a team-first mentality and communication skills that allow you to influence others at all levels and across all functions within the organization to rally behind shared business goals
  • You use AI aggressively in your daily work—not as a buzzword, but as a real force multiplier on how much you can ship

Responsibilities

  • Build out and manage lean team of Business Operations generalists who work across GTM, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Product to execute against Assort Health’s growth goals
  • Identify the highest-leverage problems across the business and drive the cross-functional initiatives to solve them
  • Set the operating rhythm for the business: run company planning cadences and key leadership meetings, define and manage key KPI reporting, prepare for board meetings, etc.
  • Partner with Finance and RevOps to turn data into the insights that shape executive decisions
  • Stand up new functions and roles as the company scales
