About The Position

Creative Milkshake is a remote-first creative studio specializing in UGC ads for Meta and TikTok, trusted by ambitious DTC brands. As part of the inBeat/Fieldtrip group, we are undergoing a restructure to separate account leadership from business development. The Head of Accounts will own the existing client base, focusing on revenue health, team leadership, invoicing clarity, and account growth. This is a commercial leadership role responsible for predictable monthly invoiced revenue, not a coordination function. Business development responsibilities will transition to a dedicated hire as the team scales.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in account management, client success, or commercial leadership.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue from existing accounts.
  • Experienced leading and developing AM or client-facing teams.
  • Commercially sharp: thinking about invoicing, forecasting, and margin.
  • Clear communicator who can hold a team accountable without losing trust.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • CET, GMT, or ±1 timezone required.
  • Proficiency with ClickUp (project & revenue tracking), HubSpot or similar CRM, Google Drive & Sheets, Slack, and Notion.

Responsibilities

  • Own monthly invoiced revenue across all existing client accounts.
  • Drive all accounts forward to ensure a fast, consistent invoicing cadence.
  • Identify and proactively resolve blockers in delivery, scope, or client behavior.
  • Ensure no revenue sits in 'pending' longer than necessary.
  • Fix delayed revenue.
  • Produce a monthly revenue forecast using ClickUp and active project data.
  • Track actual invoiced revenue at month-end.
  • Report on and reduce the variance between forecast and actual revenue.
  • Build toward a cadence of predictable, reliable revenue reporting.
  • Own the end-to-end invoicing process: system, timing, and accuracy.
  • Ensure every project has a clearly assigned invoice month.
  • Trigger Finance at the right point in each project lifecycle.
  • Create simplicity and clarity in invoicing across AM and PM teams.
  • Lead a team in transition, clarifying successful Account Management and building a scalable structure.
  • Lead weekly AM team meetings to align on priorities and delivery standards.
  • Run monthly 1:1s with AMs.
  • Coach AMs to lead accounts proactively.
  • Drive a culture where invoicing is planned, not chased.
  • Identify and drive upsell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Own renewals and scope expansions.
  • Ensure accounts grow beyond their initial deal value.
  • Stay close to client sentiment to catch churn risk early.
  • Partner with the Head of Studio and Head of Ops to ensure delivery is positioned for clean invoicing.
  • Work closely with Finance on collections, billing queries, and process improvements.
  • Escalate client-facing issues to the Head of Client Services when they carry commercial or relationship risk.
  • Step into complex projects to unblock delivery and protect the account.
  • Support inbound lead qualification: review briefs, assess fit, and flag opportunities.
  • Assist in reactivation of lapsed client relationships.
  • Identify upsell hooks from within active accounts for future outbound pipeline.
  • Provide input on proposal shaping for existing client relationships.
