About The Position

Function Health is seeking a Head of Account Management to oversee the company's imaging partner network end-to-end. This role involves managing the account management team, onboarding and launch processes, service level agreements (SLAs), and CRM hygiene. The Head of Account Management will also drive strategic decisions regarding market prioritization, partner mix, remediation versus exit strategies, and high-stakes escalations. This is a builder's role requiring an entrepreneurial operator who can manage key relationships, support team execution, set expansion strategy, and establish operational standards. The role demands accountability for network outcomes and requires fluid movement between managing important relationships and supporting day-to-day execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading account management, partnerships, and/or network teams.
  • Experience managing and developing a team through escalations and complex operational work.
  • Proven track record of making and owning consequential decisions (exits, remediations, escalations).
  • Entrepreneurial operator mindset: takes ownership of ambiguous problems, acts without waiting for direction, and builds processes where none exist.
  • Strong operator's instinct: builds repeatable processes, documents key information, and maintains system cleanliness.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Ops, and Legal, and translating between commercial and operational needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; direct, concise, and organized.
  • Bias toward ownership and follow-through in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

  • Maintain CRM accuracy as the single system of record for the network.
  • Set market prioritization based on member demand and coverage gaps.
  • Own partner mix, remediation versus exit calls, and the highest-stakes escalations end to end.
  • Provide commit-level recommendations on exits, exclusivity, and major market bets to the COO for ratification.
  • Manage a team of account managers responsible for partner relationships, onboarding, and ongoing performance.
  • Coach the team through escalations and complex integrations, and directly handle the highest-stakes relationships.
  • Own renewals and contract work for a select group of the network's most important partnerships, including pricing, exclusivity, and service-level terms.
  • Manage commercial and contract work for key relationships, collaborating with Legal from redline to signature.
  • Ensure partners go live cleanly, acting as project manager and coordinating across Member Experience, Ops, and integration/engineering.
  • Own the launch-to-stable transition and resolve operational issues causing member complaints.
  • Work with Product and MRI Ops to integrate new scan capabilities onto the network.
  • Support international expansion (UK, and new markets) with the necessary partner strategy.
  • Maintain systems and documentation for scalability, including CRM, SOPs, and institutional knowledge.
