About The Position

Boulder Valley School District is hiring a Head Coach for the boys’ 8th-grade intermediate school basketball program at Monarch K-8 in Louisville, Colorado. The coach instructs and works with athletes to prepare them for competition and is responsible for the overall IS basketball program. The position reports to the school principal and is scheduled from October 27, 2026, through December 11, 2026. The listed pay range is $1,100–$1,451.50; placement varies based on experience and education. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 21 years old, communicate in English, and submit a BVSD online application. Three or more years of coaching experience, knowledge of school athletic and activity programming, leadership qualities, and successful experience working with middle school students are preferred. Employment is contingent on completing post-offer screening, including a background check and possible medical examination.

Requirements
