About The Position

Hudson Public Schools is hiring a Basketball Boys 8th Grade Head Coach. The coach’s primary responsibility is to improve athletes’ performance by motivating, instructing, and managing the team. The candidate should have complete knowledge of the sport and be able to teach and motivate student-athletes to succeed academically and athletically. Further details about the job will be provided during the interview. The season starts November 30, 2026. Coaches receive a one-time stipend after the season is completed.

Requirements

• Complete knowledge of basketball.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check (CORI) and fingerprinting before the start date.

Nice To Haves

• Coaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
• Work incorporating a global perspective and a demonstrated commitment to diversity in education is particularly encouraged.
