About The Position

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based in Rosser, Texas. As a Mobile Equipment Operator, the employee operates heavy equipment and works with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment. The role involves outdoor work in varied weather conditions; although most equipment has air conditioning, other responsibilities may require working in heat, cold, wet, dry, or dusty conditions. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

Requirements

Positive, team-based attitude.
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, and climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
Ability to work in varied outdoor environments, including cold, hot, dry, dusty, and rainy conditions.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
No prior experience required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

Promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, or rubber tire backhoe.
Operate equipment in a quarry.
Comply with industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance.
Maintain strong communication with other plant employees and operators.
Clean equipment and clear obstacles from the work environment.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
