About The Position

Valeo is a global technology company and automotive supplier that designs mobility solutions focused on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions. As a Hardware Technician, you will support hardware design and development, including schematic creation, circuit simulation, board testing and debugging, lab operations, board rework, and EBOM creation for RFQs. You will work with Hardware Architects and collaborate within a multidisciplinary Project Team Member (PTM) environment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in analog hardware design, specifically focused on linear and/or DC-DC power conversion.
• A strong foundation in basic analog principles and DC-DC converter topologies.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary Project Team Member (PTM) environment.

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree is preferred; experience may be considered in lieu of education.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) technology.

Responsibilities

• Draw schematics based on input from Hardware Architects.
• Perform basic circuit simulations using LTSpice and PSpice.
• Perform hardware board-level testing.
• Debug issues during project development and board bring-up.
• Manage lab equipment and procure components for the lab.
• Solder and rework boards during development.
• Support EBOM creation for RFQs.
