Carlton Fields is seeking a Hardware Support Technician and After Hours HelpDesk for its Los Angeles office. The work schedule is 10:30 am – 7:00 pm PST. Requirements

  • A minimum of 1-2 years hardware field service experience, technical phone support or equivalent
  • Thorough knowledge of hardware products and software capabilities
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed
  • Must be willing to answer calls after normal working hours as part of an on-call rotation

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure computer & phone equipment, including site preparation
  • Manage video conferencing
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, upgrades and ongoing support for hardware
  • Perform diagnostics, repair and ongoing support for software in a Windows 11 environment
  • Assist in managing administrative tasks such as physical inventory of hardware and software license compliance
  • Serves as evening HelpDesk Technician
  • Assists in handling firmwide HelpDesk tickets as able from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm PST, then exclusively 2:30 pm – 7:00 pm PST
  • Is part of an on-call rotation
