About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Hardware Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role is part of the Store Team, which works to provide a friendly, high-quality shopping experience and help customers feel at home. The position works closely with store management to foster teamwork and pride of ownership. The stated pay range is USD $19.30–$20.95 per hour. Store hours are 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Sunday; individual hours may vary depending on workload and assignment.

Requirements

Communicate well verbally and in writing.
Arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
Set priorities and organize workload.
Efficiently solve problems and offer solutions to customers.
Engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
Provide excellent customer service.
Think strategically and lead.
Have at least one year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, friendly service to customers.
Handle customer transactions precisely.
Ensure sales clerks receive all required breaks.
Work closely with store management to build teamwork and pride of ownership within the store.
Replenish inventory as needed.
Keep department fixtures clean and well stocked.
Help train new employees on department responsibilities.
