About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Hardware Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role is part of the Store Team, which works to maintain strong customer service and friendliness and create a welcoming shopping experience. The manager serves customers, handles transactions, supports the department team, and works with store management to foster teamwork and pride of ownership. The position may also involve replenishing inventory, keeping department fixtures clean and well-stocked, and helping train new employees.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to set priorities and organize workload.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Capacity to think strategically and lead.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt and friendly service to customers.
Handle customer transactions accurately.
Ensure sales clerks receive all required breaks.
Work closely with store management to build teamwork and pride of ownership within the store.
Replenish inventory as needed.
Keep department fixtures clean and well-stocked.
Help train new employees on department responsibilities.
