Hardware Clerk
About The Position
Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Hardware Clerk to join its Store Team. The position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service while helping create a welcoming shopping experience. Duties may include assisting customers, replenishing inventory, stocking, cashiering, maintaining merchandise, and ensuring the department is well stocked and customer transactions are handled precisely. Store hours are 9:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Saturday–Sunday; hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. The listed pay range is $16.10–$19.25 per hour, paid bi-weekly or through an on-demand payment option.

- Communicate well verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
- Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
- Knowledge or experience with home repair, automotive care, or other building hobbies.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly, and excellent customer service.
- Assist and engage with a variety of customers.
- Replenish inventory and stock merchandise.
- Maintain merchandise and ensure the hardware department is well stocked.
- Process customer transactions precisely and perform cashiering duties.
- Organize workload, set priorities, and solve customer problems by offering solutions.
