About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking an organized and enthusiastic Hardware Clerk to join its Store Team. The position builds, promotes, and delivers a high degree of customer service, helping create a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Tasks may include providing prompt and friendly assistance, replenishing inventory, stocking and maintaining merchandise, cashiering, and accurately handling customer transactions. The role is in the Hardware department of a community-based, employee-owned retailer.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
• Experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
• Knowledge or experience with home repair, automotive care, or other building hobbies.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and assist customers with their needs.
• Help ensure the Hardware department is well stocked.
• Replenish inventory, stock products, and maintain merchandise.
• Handle cashiering and customer transactions precisely.
• Contribute to a welcoming shopping experience and a high level of customer service.
