About The Position

Hallmark is hiring a part-time Merchandiser to service Hallmark departments in retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. The role works independently to organize and manage time, build retailer relationships, represent Hallmark, maintain product displays and inventory, and collaborate with store teams and fellow merchandisers. Work may occasionally involve products from other companies in the stores served. The work has three main components: day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor products, communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys. Holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours; some work may be required on holidays, including weekends. Reset assignments may involve installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections, sometimes during evenings or weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. This is a part-time position with a variable weekday schedule and an average of 9–10 hours per week. The starting pay is $14.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care. The job is physically demanding and takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying items up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, as well as kneeling, squatting, walking, and standing throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required.
