The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores, and may occasionally involve other companies’ products. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communication, and may support fellow merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. This part-time position has a variable work-week schedule and averages 7–10 hours per week. The role includes additional days and extended hours around major holidays, and may require work on some holidays and weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Merchandisers must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds and occasionally handle items up to 50 pounds. The work may also require kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or step ladders.
