About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory and product displays, and build relationships with store teams. You service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores, and may occasionally work with other companies’ products. You use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, time reporting, communication, feedback, and surveys. The role includes routine merchandising, additional holiday support, and occasional department resets and installations. Work is physically demanding and takes place on selling floors and in back stockrooms.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available for variable work-week scheduling, seasonal support, and occasional evenings or weekends for remodel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement with local store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks, time reporting, supervisor communication, feedback, and required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional service during seasonal and holiday periods, which may involve extra workdays and extended hours.
• Participate in department installations and resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
