As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organizational and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support colleagues with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, you restock, organize, and monitor products and displays, communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required merchandising activities. Professional interactions with store employees, management, and customers are important, and you are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. Seasonal demand brings additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. Some holiday work may be required, including weekends. You may also join teams that build or install fixtures, relocate departments or products, and reset card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. Merchandisers may support other team members in their territories. The position pays $15.00–$17.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Paid training includes hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The variable schedule averages 7–10 hours per week. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
