As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and build relationships with store teams. You restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark inventory, communicate with your supervisor and complete required reporting using a Hallmark-provided mobile device. You may also support other products in stores you service and assist fellow merchandisers in their territories. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, additional support around seasonal holidays, and occasional department resets and installations. Work may involve building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections. The position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 6–10 hours per week. Additional days or extended hours may be needed before and after major holidays, during season changeovers, and for installations, extended services, or inventory support. Availability around major holidays, potentially including weekends, is required. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. Employees must regularly handle merchandise and fixtures, and may need to climb stairs or step ladders. Hallmark provides paid training through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Part-time employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
