About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills and building relationships with store teams. You represent Hallmark while optimizing product placement, maintaining inventory, and supporting seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, the role may involve products from other companies in the stores you service.

The work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks, time reporting, communication, feedback, and surveys. Merchandisers support increased seasonal demand around major holidays, and may assist with fixture installations, department relocations, and card-section resets. The role may also require supporting other merchandisers in their territories.

This is a part-time position with a variable workweek schedule, averaging 5–10 hours per week. The starting pay is $16.50–$18.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Employees with schedules under 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside assigned Hallmark departments.
• Maintain responsibility for the Hallmark product displays at assigned stores.
• Use a mobile device to complete merchandising work, report time, communicate with a supervisor, provide feedback, and answer required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional workdays or extended hours around major holidays.
• Build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections as needed.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
