About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to present Hallmark products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and participation in department resets, installations, and other projects. Merchandisers may also occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores they service.

This is a part-time position averaging 8–10 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays, for seasonal changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Work may include evenings, weekends, or, on occasion, the holiday itself. Hallmark provides paid, hands-on and virtual training. Starting pay is $17.00–$19.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Service Hallmark departments in assigned grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores.
• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a mobile device provided by Hallmark.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and inventory levels.
• Use technology for daily work and communication with a supervisor, including reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around seasonal holidays, including extended hours and, when required, work on the holiday itself.
• Participate in seasonal resets and installations, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
