About The Position

As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. The role may occasionally involve other companies’ products in the stores you service.

The position provides merchandising services in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores. Work includes daily product restocking and organization, inventory monitoring, holiday support, and department resets or installations. Hallmark provides a mobile device for job-related tasks and communication. This part-time role has a variable work-week schedule averaging 14–16 hours per week, with additional days and extended hours around holidays and seasonal projects. Paid training includes hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal demand with additional workdays or extended hours before and after major holidays; work on certain holidays when required.
• Participate in installations and department resets, including building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
