As a Hallmark Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Daily work includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark inventory and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications, and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. You may support seasonal holiday demand with additional workdays and extended hours, and participate in department installations and resets. The schedule is variable during the work week and averages 8–10 hours per week. This is a physically demanding position performed on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. You must be able to handle merchandise and fixtures, and move around stores as needed. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The starting pay rate is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
