About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory and product displays, and build relationships with retailer teams. You will work in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores, while representing Hallmark and communicating with your supervisor using a mobile device provided by Hallmark. On occasion, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

The role includes regular merchandising work, additional support around seasonal holidays, and occasional department resets and installations. Seasonal work may involve extra days or extended hours, and some holiday or remodel assignments may include weekends or evenings. Training is paid and provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. The position averages 10–14 hours per week on a variable work-week schedule. Starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside the Hallmark department at assigned stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Support seasonal holiday demand with additional workdays and extended hours, as needed.
• Participate in team installations and department resets, including building or installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories when needed.
• Travel to and between assigned stores according to the schedule.
