About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments at retail stores, organize and restock products, monitor inventory, and maintain the full Hallmark product display at assigned stores. You will collaborate with store teams, build retailer relationships, and support other merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations as needed. The position has a variable work-week schedule and averages 8–11 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays, season changes, installations, and inventory support. Some assignments may involve evenings, weekends, or working on a holiday. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and involves frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communications with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide holiday support, including additional workdays and extended hours around seasonal demand; work on certain holidays when required.
• Participate in department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories as needed.
