As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in various retail stores, including grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers. You will represent Hallmark, work with store teams to optimize product placement and inventory, and may support other merchandisers with seasonal resets and installations. The role involves restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication. You may occasionally work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The schedule varies during the work week and averages 9–18 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and during seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support. Work may include weekends, evenings, or, on occasion, the holiday itself. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. The job is physically demanding and takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. You must frequently push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds and occasionally handle items up to 50 pounds, as well as kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday. Climbing stairs and step ladders may also be required. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage for preventive care.
