About The Position

JCPenney Salon is seeking a hair stylist to provide professional styling services and create a superior client experience. The stylist determines clients’ needs and provides services including current haircuts, finishing, and chemical services. The role involves building a client base, partnering with salon team members, and participating in a learning environment. Commission is based on credential level, sales, and productivity, with Designer, Senior Designer, and Master Designer levels.

Requirements

Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state where applying.
Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to build a client base.
Ability to partner with salon team members and flexibility in the role.
Willingness to participate in a learning environment and passion for the beauty industry.
Strong people skills.
Ability to solve problems, make smart decisions, and work efficiently and effectively.
Provide great customer service and build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships.
