About The Position

JCPenney Salon is seeking a hair stylist to provide professional styling services and deliver a superior client experience. The stylist determines clients’ needs and provides services including current haircuts, finishing, and chemical services. The role calls for building a client base, listening and interacting with clients, and working collaboratively with salon team members in a learning-focused environment. Commission is based on credential level, sales, and productivity. The stated pay range is USD $12.00 to $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state where applying.
Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and people skills.
Have the ability to build a client base and partner with salon team members.
Show a willingness to participate in a learning environment and a passion for the beauty industry.
Demonstrate problem-solving, sound decision-making, accountability, and a customer-service orientation.
