About The Position

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is seeking a licensed Hair Stylist/Cosmetologist to provide children and their parents with a fun, exciting, and professional haircut experience. The role includes providing full salon services and ensuring clients are satisfied through attentive listening and communication. The salon offers a relaxed, fun, and fast-paced environment, with no early mornings or late nights and the ability to make your own schedule. Compensation is stated as $23–$40 per hour inclusive of tips and commissions, with full client books and the opportunity to earn right away.

Requirements

• Current cosmetology license for the state.
• At least one year of experience.
• Able to work weekends.
• Upbeat, positive attitude and friendly nature.
• Ability to listen to and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide hair cutting, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling services.
• Listen and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction.
