About The Position

Drybar is hiring licensed cosmetologists who enjoy styling and finishing hair and want to work in a salon focused exclusively on blowouts. The role does not involve haircuts, color, or chemical services. Clients are provided, so stylists do not need to build their own clientele. Compensation includes hourly pay, tips, and commission, with opportunities for higher hourly pay for weekend availability. Stylists receive paid hands-on training in blowouts, braids, and updos and have set, predictable schedules. The salon is described as busy, energetic, and fast-paced, with opportunities to grow into education and leadership roles. Current cosmetology students are welcome to apply, but a valid cosmetology license is required before working as a Drybar Hair Stylist.

Requirements

• A current, valid cosmetology license is required before beginning work as a Drybar Hair Stylist.
• Enjoy blowouts, styling, and finishing hair.
• Enjoy working with different hair types and textures.
• Be friendly, dependable, and attentive to clients.
• Be comfortable working as part of a fun, fast-paced team.
• Be motivated to develop skills and increase earnings.
• Be available to work weekends, including Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Availability on weekends may provide opportunities for higher hourly pay.
• Current cosmetology students are welcome to apply and connect before graduation, though they must obtain a valid license before working as a stylist.

Responsibilities

• Style and finish clients’ hair, primarily through blowouts.
• Provide a positive client experience and take care of clients.
• Offer braids, updos, extensions, add-on services, memberships, and retail products as applicable.
