About The Position

Drybar is a fast-paced, team-focused hair shop specializing in blowouts, with no cuts or color services. Stylists perform blowouts using Drybar’s Anatomy of a Blowout and provide an exceptional client experience. They also sell products, tools, and memberships and participate in general shop duties. The role offers hourly wages, tips, and commissions, paid blowout, braid, and updo training, and opportunities to pursue management or education career paths. A set schedule and a defined dress code are provided. Health insurance is available to full-time employees.

Requirements

• Cosmetology license.
• Desire to meet and exceed team and individual sales goals.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to receive and implement feedback.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.

Nice To Haves

• Applicants currently attending cosmetology school are also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform blowouts using Drybar’s Anatomy of a Blowout.
• Provide an exceptional client experience.
• Sell products, tools, and memberships.
• Participate in shop duties, including laundry, sweeping, dusting, and general cleaning.
• Work toward and help meet team and individual sales goals.
