About The Position

Provide compassionate, in-home support to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Monroe, North Carolina. The position includes weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with possible weekday shifts after 5 p.m. Mature and female staff are preferred. Pay starts at $15 per hour, with weekly pay and flexible scheduling. The company aims to match opportunities within a 30-minute commute of the employee’s home. Training may be available through an apprentice program for applicants without the stated experience.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; training may be available through an apprentice program for applicants without this experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Spend time with clients participating in their favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
