About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650 Captain for an operation at KHPN airport. The Captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations. The role requires an on-call work arrangement, annual ICAO international procedures training, and a primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on the Gulfstream G650 or a comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G650 safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, the aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
