About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650 Captain to join an operation at KHPN airport. The captain is responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures, applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, and approved aircraft procedures. The role requires an on-call work arrangement and residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN, or willingness to relocate.

Requirements

• At least 3,000 total flight hours.
• At least 1,500 hours PIC.
• At least 1,500 hours MEL.
• At least 500 hours MEL PIC.
• At least 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• At least 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on a Gulfstream G650 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KHPN or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the Gulfstream G650 aircraft.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Accurately complete trip paperwork in accordance with current procedures.
