About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain for an operation at KOPF airport in Opa Locka, Florida. The Captain is responsible for safe operation of the aircraft and for conducting flights safely and prudently in accordance with applicable procedures, Solairus Aviation policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations. Requirements

• Total flight time of 3,000 hours.
• 1,500 hours PIC time.
• 1,500 hours MEL time.
• 500 hours MEL PIC time.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rated on a Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical required.
• Must be able to work on an on-call basis.
• Must complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G500 safely.
• Review the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at airports to be used, including alternate airports.
• Ensure flights comply with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately and in accordance with current procedures.
