About The Position

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G500 Captain for an operation at KOPF airport. The Captain will safely operate the aircraft and help meet clients’ travel needs while upholding Solairus’ culture of safety, service, and integrity. The role requires working on an on-call basis and an annual completion of ICAO international procedures training. The primary residence must be within a two-hour drive of KOPF, or the candidate must be willing to relocate.

Requirements

• 3,000 total flight hours.
• 1,500 PIC hours.
• 1,500 MEL hours.
• 500 MEL PIC hours.
• 500 hours in turbojet aircraft.
• 250 instrument hours.
• Type rating on a Gulfstream G500 or comparable aircraft.
• First-class medical certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Ability to complete ICAO international procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a two-hour drive of KOPF or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Gulfstream G500 safely.
• Conduct flights safely and prudently, including reviewing the aircraft’s maintenance status.
• Conduct a proper pre-flight inspection in accordance with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Check weather and facilities along the route and at planned and alternate airports.
• Conduct flights in accordance with Solairus Aviation policies and procedures and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Ensure the safety of passengers, aircraft, and crew.
• Complete trip paperwork accurately in accordance with current procedures.
