About The Position

The Guestroom Attendant cleans and replenishes guest rooms to property-specific standards, completing a designated number of rooms during each shift and maintaining housekeeping supplies. The role supports the Rooms Division in keeping the hotel clean and welcoming, provides courteous service to guests, and monitors public areas for cleanliness. The position is based at Valley River Inn. Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience is preferred, but applicants who do not meet every qualification are encouraged to apply.

Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
Clean and maintain all guestrooms to property-specific standards.
Clean and replenish a designated number of rooms within the assigned shift.
Maintain supplies and organization of the housekeeping cart.
Check rooms and report damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.
Monitor cleanliness of public areas inside and outside the property.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
Greet and warmly engage guests.
Complete tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager.
